SATC Board of Directors
Serving at the Crossroads is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors who see to the day-to-day business of the corporation. The following people are members of the Board:
| Charles R.B. Beckmann |

| MD, FACOG |
| Director of Academic Affairs and Ambulatory Services and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Thomas Jefferson University. Interests include primary women’s health care, medical and health professions education, and medical infomatics. RB is the author of one of the major textbooks on obstetrics and gynecology used in medical schools today |
| Claudia A. Beckmann |

| PhD, RNC |
Associate Professor and Director of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Rutgers University. Her research interests are asthma in pregnancy. Dr. Beckmann is also a certified midwife and Women’s Health Practitioner.

| Jodie S. King |

Jodie holds a Masters Degree in Theological Studies from
Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary with an emphasis in public policy.
She taught health and physical education for several years, during which
time she developed health curricula for both public and private
schools. Equipped with a myriad of experiences acquired over many years
working as a volunteer with church and para-church ministries, she also
held a professional staff position in the Youth for Christ organization.

| Paul J. Larson |

Paul is a Chartered Financial Analyst and serves as the Treasurer for SATC. He has a Master of Science Degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. For 30 years Paul was a securities analyst and pension fund manager for various financial institutions including the Bank of New York and the YMCA Retirement Fund. He is retired and lives in Chadds Ford, PA. Finance and business development are his areas of interest.

| Claudia P. Roemer |

Claudia is a graduate of Trinity College with Bachelor
of Art Degrees in Economics and International Relations. She is
currently Executive Director of Training for the Chicago-based Seaton
Corporation, where she founded Seaton Corp’s virtual university,
“Think”. She has more than 20 years of experience in Operations and
Training. Her interests are in Latin and Central America. She is a
native of Bogota, Colombia.

| Paul Roemer |

Paul has more than twenty years of international
management consulting experience. Paul founded and has run a highly
successful international consulting firm for several years. He built and
ran consulting practices for IBM and KPMG. He is a frequent speaker at
industry forums and his writings have appeared in several notable trade
publications. Paul has an MBA in finance and operations management from
the Owen School at Vanderbilt University. He earned a BA in mathematics
and econometrics from the University of Maryland. Married, and the
father of three wonderful children, he is also an avid runner and
painter.

| Robert L. Sumner |

Local dentist who has had a practice in West Chester for more than 36 years. His interests are restorative dentistry and bacterial erosions of teeth and gums. He is President of SATC.

| Peter D. Thompson |

| DDS |
| Peter has been in dental practice for mote than 25 years in West Chester. He is a former member of the West Chester Board of Education and serves as a professional staff member of Community Volunteers in Medicine, helping
the Latino community and unemployed citizens of the county receive
medical and dental healthcare. He is also an active participant with
the Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County, reaching out
to women facing language, cultural or financial roadblocks in the
receipt of health coverage and prenatal care. |
| Michael Tysowsky |

| PhD |
Entomologist and former Manager of Environmental & Scientific Affairs at Zeneca in Wilmington, DE. His areas of interest are public health, communications, strategic planning and implementation.

- Clinic nears 25,000 mark in treating patients during first 3 years of serving people in La Entrada
- Well drilling completed on new clinic site
- Eagle Scout project collected more than $15,000 worth of over-the-counter medications
- Audiometer donated, which will speed up examinations, enabling patients to qualify for hearing aids
- ASIDE, the Association for Ecological and Social Economic Development, signed cooperative agreement with Manos Amigas to supply food, bedding and medical supplies
- Finland's Project Norte partnered with Manos Amigas by providing funds for well construction, waste water disposal and environmental preservation of new clinic site
- First micro-enterprise development project receives grant to test market "high-end" fabric products sewn in Honduras for sale in US with portion of profits to support the clinic
